Certified Business Professional
The Certified Business Professional program is an international industry credential that validates and develops the business professional. The program establishes a foundation-level, industry-neutral certification for business professionals which enables employers and the candidate to have a platform to develop the Certified Business Professional for targeted positions within corporations. 

The designation, Certified Business Professional is available in three specific areas:

• Customer Service
• Business Etiquette
• Business Communication

PROGRAM DETAILS:
• Each class meets for a total of 16 hours
• Tuition is $350 and includes textbooks, exam fee and onsite computers for use in class
• Classes meet Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 
Customer Service (CBP)
The CBP™ Customer Service Course provides the foundation for quality customer service and focuses on building life-long customer relationships by developing effective customer-care strategies. The CBP™ Customer Service module provides guidelines for emerging technologies such as Internet Chat. Additionally, this module uses various hands-on and interactive scenarios to develop the foundation customer care skills needed to provide excellence in service.

Topics included in the class are: introduction to customer service, communication skills, customer analysis – knowing your customer, calming upset customers, telephone customer service, time management and stress management strategies.
 
 
Business Etiquette (CBP)
The CBP™ Customer Service Course provides the foundation for quality customer service and focuses on building life-long customer relationships by developing effective customer-care strategies. The CBP™ Customer Service module provides guidelines for emerging technologies such as Internet Chat. Business Communication (CBP)
The CBP™ Business Communication Course equips the business professional with the best communication practices and develops business communication as a discipline. The CBP™ Business Communication module explores the study of the process of communication in the business environment, allowing us to understand how to make better choices in our day to day communication.

Topics included in the class are:  structuring business communication, developing a business writing style, types of business writing, writing for special circumstances, developing oral communication skills, doing business on the telephone, nonverbal communication, developing effective presentation skills and conflict and disagreement in business communication.
