Graphic Arts Tech Prep students work with a multitude of projects in this two-year program, which is associated with Visual Communications degrees at the college level. Projects include digital output with website design, video production and editing, PDF work flow and DVD/CD authoring, and advertising design such as production of newsletters, logos, brochures and other business marketing tools. The program includes traditional output through offset printing, with the main focus on meeting the job specifications needs using whatever output method is available and appropriate.

Certifications/College Credit:
The Graphic Arts program offers articulated credits with Sinclair Community College, 18 credits toward Visual Communications or Printing Technologies, and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, 15 to 21 credits in Printing and Print Management. The program is certified by the Printing Industries of America.
Tech Prep opportunities include articulated credits and scholarships for successful completers.
Internships and Job Placement:
Students have the opportunity to work in many area printing facilities as paid and unpaid interns. Seniors may be eligible for early job placement in the second half of the school year.
