The Nursing Assistant program prepares students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for the elderly and seriously ill patients in nursing homes, hospitals and home care settings. Successful completion of this program qualifies you to sit for the state certification written and skills exam.
The 76 hour STNA program includes 60 hours of classroom lecture and laboratory practice along with 16 hours of supervised clinical experience. 100% attendance is required.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, the student will be scheduled to take the STNA Certification exam.
Admission Requirements:
- WorkKeys Assessment (must be completed prior to start of class)
- Current physical, with Two-Step TB test

- Application Fee/WorkKeys Assessment - $60.00 (non-refundable)
- Tuition - $760 – due at time of registration (includes scrubs, book and state test fee - student must supply own shoes and have a watch with a second hand)

STNA Cancellation/Refund Policy
To cancel your registration for the STNA program and receive a refund, you must notify the Warren County Career Center Adult Education Department at least 24 hours prior to the start of the first class. If the required notice is not made, no refund will be issued. Upon request, the non-refunded tuition may be applied to a future course for which an opening exists.
