Welding and Metal Fabrication
Welding and Metal Fabrication students learn all aspects of the industry. The welding lab experience develops each student's ability to use various welding methods and to weld in flat, vertical and overhead positions. Students will also design, layout, and fabricate components using different metals and various welding methods.

Certifications/College credit:

Students may be awarded the American Welding Society D1.1 Structural Certification upon successful completion of the program. Graduates may continue their education at many technical schools, colleges, or universities.
Internships, job placement:
In the second year of the program, students may be eligible to start an apprenticeship program or enter employment. Seniors are eligible for early job placement in the second half of the school year. The criteria for placement include instructor recommendation, grade point average and attendance.
