This two-year program for students interested in the engineering field is located at Sinclair Courseview in Mason. Classes run Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Along with the engineering courses, students may choose to take their academic courses at Sinclair, making this a dual credit, post-secondary options program, or they may return to their home high school for academics.
This program is also offered as a satellite program in the afternoons at Bishop Fenwick High School.
Students will be able to graduate from high school well on their way to a college degree. Students will take Introduction to Engineering Design in the first semester and Principles of Engineering the second semester. Other PLTW courses available are Digital Electronics, Civil Engineering & Architecture, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Engineering Design and Development. All PLTW courses will earn 3 credit hours each at Sinclair upon successful completion.
