2010 Culinary Alumni Return

2010 Culinary Alumni Return

Warren County Career Center Culinary alumni Katie Male, Megan Payne and Kasey Wonderly returned recently to congratulate the Senior Culinary Team that will be competing at the Ohio Family, Career and Community Leaders of America conference in April.

Senior Culinary Team members Max Evans, Kings; Brett Lawhorn, Franklin; Jordan Pruett, Franklin; and alternate Jacob Cope, Franklin; won the Silver Medal at the regional completion and will move on to the state competition. Last year as a junior team, then-seniors Katie, Megan and Kasey cheered them on, so they decided to come and congratulate them.

Katie Male attends the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. She plans on becoming a corporate chef. Kasey Wonderly also attends Midwest Culinary Institute, and will major in dietary management. She would like to work in school food service. Megan Payne graduates in May from Johnson & Wales University and then starts as a student assistant in the events center at the university while she pursues her bachelor degree in food service management.
