SkillsUSA Local Contests Held at WCCC

Warren County Career Center students in 17 programs participate in SkillsUSA, a national Career-Technical Student Organization serving students in High School and College Post-Secondary Industrial, Engineering and Health Career Training programs. Recently the school held its local competitions to determine candidates for regional and state competition this spring, and ultimately national competition.

Students in Advanced Technologies & Robotics, Aerospace Academy, Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Culinary Technology, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Dental Assisting, Digital Design, Electricity, Fire Science, Graphic Arts, Health Science, Heavy Equipment, HVAC Environmental Controls, Sports Medicine and Welding demonstrated their skills during WCCC SkillsUSA Day, which concluded with an awards ceremony. The instructors conducted competitions in their labs with industry partners serving as judges, giving students valuable advice.
