Culinary Alumnus Interns at WCCC

Doug Wamsley, Warren County Career Center Class of 2013, is interning this spring in the WCCC Culinary Lab. Doug, who studied Culinary Technology and is from Lebanon, is studying at Johnson & Wales University. He began his sophomore year of his accelerated program in September 2013 and will finish with his Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts in May 2014. His ultimate goal is to be a Culinary instructor.

“The Career Center opened the door for me,” he said. “I never knew about Johnson & Wales before I began in the Culinary class. The skills I learned here were the pathway to mastering my techniques in college. I will always call this place home.”
