Certifications/College credit:
Automotive Technology has articulation agreements to earn college credits with Ferris State University, Nashville Auto-Diesel College, Sinclair Community College and Northwestern College. The program is certified by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation, commonly known as Automotive Service Excellence, ASE.
Internships and job placement:
Seniors may be eligible for early job placement in the second half of the school year. Criteria for placement include instructor recommendation, grade point average and attendance.
Career Technical Student Organization:
Automotive Technology students participate in SkillsUSA, a partnership of students, teachers and industry, working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. All students also have the opportunity to participate in the Tech Prep Showcase through the Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium.
