The Ohio Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provide a high-impact, front-line program designed to facilitate small business growth, job creation, and access to capital. The SBDC works with entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages of business growth. Through access to a wide range of services and resources, the SBDC meets the needs of the experienced and the prospective small business owner at his/her level of sophistication helping transition to the next level of business insight and understanding growth.

Confidential One-to-One Advising
The SBDC Certified Business Advisor® utilizes a business coaching process to assess the business situation and work with the entrepreneur to think through problems, identify the need, find options and pinpoint solutions. Advisors assist with acquisition of capital via relationships with lenders and investors.

Online Learning Opportunities for the Aspiring Entrepreneur
The Warren County Career Center offers a variety of “Start Your Own Business” online learning courses, contracted through Ed2Go. Courses are affordable, accessible, and very flexible.

Each course is six weeks long and is instructor facilitated. The ed2go website has additional information about course descriptions and content, instructors and hardware/software requirements. You can access a sample course demonstration to become familiar with how an online learning course is organized and conducted. It is easy to register online for the courses of your choice.
