Website Accessibility Statement
Warren County Career Center is committed to ensuring that all individuals, including those with disabilities, have equal access to the District’s programs, services, and activities, including those delivered through its website, web pages, applications, and online services.
In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the District strives to ensure that individuals with disabilities are able to acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same benefits and services, within the same timeframe and with substantially equivalent ease of use, as individuals without disabilities. The District is committed to providing effective communication and ensuring that no individual is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination through the District’s online content or digital platforms.

The District applies universal design principles and accessibility best practices, including but not limited to:
Sufficient color contrast and readable text
Text alternatives (“alt text”) for images
Accurate, synchronized captions for video content
Keyboard navigation support
Proper use of headings and page structure
Accessible online forms
Compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies
Support for browser zoom and text resizing
Ongoing Review and Audits

Website accessibility is an ongoing effort. Under the direction of the District’s Web Accessibility Coordinator, the District regularly reviews and audits its website(s) to identify and remediate accessibility barriers. Accessibility audits are conducted at regular intervals, no less than once every two (2) years, and issues identified through these audits are documented, evaluated, and addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

Third-Party Content
The District strives to ensure that third-party content, tools, and platforms linked to or used in connection with its programs, benefits, and services are accessible and comply with applicable State and Federal laws. However, some third-party content may not be fully accessible. When accessibility barriers are identified, the District will work to provide an equally effective alternative means of access whenever feasible.

Fundamental Alteration or Undue Burden
In limited circumstances where making specific web content fully accessible would result in a fundamental alteration or impose an undue financial or administrative burden, the District will provide an equally effective alternative means of access so that individuals with disabilities may still obtain the same information or benefits to the maximum extent possible.

Reporting Accessibility Concerns
Warren County Career Center welcomes feedback regarding the accessibility of its website. Individuals who encounter accessibility barriers or have difficulty accessing content are encouraged to contact the District’s Web Accessibility Coordinator so the issue can be addressed promptly.
