Earn High School Credit and Industry Credentials at the Same Time! 

Ohio Technical Center Plus is Ohio’s dual credit program where students can earn high school credit while earning industry credentials at the same time. This program is available to Ohio residents that are in their senior year enrolled at a public/private high school or homeschooled.


This program delivery model is intended to provide the flexibility schools need in preparing students for their future when students cannot enroll locally due to course capacity, scheduling conflicts, lack of course offering, lack of qualified instructor, or lack of facilities.

What is OTC+?

Ohio Technical Center Plus is Ohio’s dual credit program where students can earn high school and industry credentials at the same time. This program is available to Ohio residents that are in their senior year enrolled at a public/private high school or homeschooled.


This program delivery model is intended to provide the flexibility schools need in preparing students for their future when students cannot enroll locally due to course capacity, scheduling conflicts, lack of course offering, lack of qualified instructor, or lack of facilities.

How can students participate?

Step 1: Eligibility

A student is eligible for the Ohio Technical Center Plus program if the student meets any of the following criteria:

  • Live in Ohio
  • Must be in their junior or senior year of high school
  • Ability to attend classes at night (depending on class offering)
  • Student must be able to provide their own transportation
  • Be in good academic standing (on-track to graduate and not credit-deficient)

Step 2: Admission Policy

  • A student will need to visit their guidance counselor to fill out the appropriate interest form
  • Warren County Career Center has the final decision on a student admission decision
  • Once the student is admitted, student will be registered through the Adult Education Student Portal
  • Admission priority will be given to students within our career technical planning district

Step 3: Course Offered

The following courses are being offered:

  • CNA (Hybrid)
  • Manicuring
  • Welding

What are the expenses for OTC+?

Students who are completing an Industry Credential program through OTC+ do so free of charge.
