Ambassador-Led Tours

WCCC Student Ambassadors will be leading small group tours to help introduce students and families to the Career Center and our programs. The tours will begin with a brief presentation, followed by a guided tour through some of our labs, and are scheduled to last an hour.
High School Presentations
Late October/Early November | Local Partner Schools
WCCC student ambassadors will visit the local high schools and present to all sophomores and share all about what WCCC has to offer, their journey, and answer any questions! Students will have the opportunity to sign up for the Sophomore Explore field trip to visit WCCC campuses with their school in mid-November.
We will visit our partner schools, which are Franklin, Kings, Lebanon, Little Miami, Springboro, and Waynesville. If you're interested in WCCC but do not attend one of these schools, please visit us during our Open House or contact us with specific questions.
Sophomore Explore
November 19th & 20th | WCCC Main Campus
The Sophomore Explore field trip is your chance to step into our labs and experience WCCC firsthand. You’ll hop a bus from your high school, hit our campus, and spend the day working on real projects alongside the students and instructors who are already carving out their paths. This is a student-only event, parents are encouraged to visit during Open House.

Bring your family to the WCCC Open House on December 3rd. Drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to show them where you’ll be building your career.

This night is built for all students and their families who are ready to learn more about coming to WCCC. You don't need to attend one of our traditional partner schools to get in on this; if you're a hardworking person ready to find your own path, our doors are open.

Apply to WCCC
Applications open December 2nd | Online Application
If you’re ready to stop talking about your future and start building it, you need to apply. Acceptance to the Warren County Career Center isn’t automatic- you have to be accepted and claim your spot.
Our priority application window opens in December and runs through January. If you want the best possible shot at landing in your first-choice program, get your application in during this window. Students living outside of our partner districts will have their applications processed on March 1st.
The Facts:

It’s Not a Race: Applications are not accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Take your time to fill it out right, but don't drag your feet.

The Lottery System: To keep things fair, all placements are handled through a random lottery system.

High Demand, Limited Spots: Our most popular programs fill up fast. Missing the window or waiting too long means risking a waitlist, as many programs hit max capacity quickly.

Missed the Deadline? You can still apply after the January window closes, but your options will be limited to whatever spots are left on the board.
Don’t leave your future to chance. Apply during the priority window for the best chance at the future you want.
Status Notifications
Beginning Mid-February
- In district applicants will be notified about their status, either accepted or waitlisted, in mid-February.
- Based on acceptance, some spots may become available after, and students on the waitlist will be notified if there is a spot available for them.
- Students who are offered a spot must confirm or deny their placement.
- We offer multiple events for accepted and waitlisted students to visit WCCC and learn more. These opportunities will be communicated via email to students and families who have applied.
