Students explore current issues as well as theories and techniques in the care and education of infants, toddlers, preschool and primary school children including the special-needs population.

Learning Lab Preschool
WCCC operates a state-licensed preschool, which offers each Early Child Education student the benefit of observations, enrichment opportunities and professional growth. Students from the Early Childhood Education career tech program have the unique opportunity to work hands-on with preschool students twice a week using small activities.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a Career and Technical Student Organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system. Through participation in competitive events, becoming involved in community service opportunities, student leadership, and attending leadership conferences, members develop real world skills, explore career pathways, and become college- and career-ready.
