The Veterinary Science Program prepares students to assist practicing veterinarians with treatment procedures by teaching essential veterinary animal care theory and protocols.

Students prepare facilities and equipment for small animal surgery, administer nutritional diets for common small domesticated animals, maintain and interpret animal health records, perform laboratory tests on small animals and assist with veterinary office and hospital administration duties. Students also put theory to practice with their in-house Doggy Day Care Facility.

HOSA is a global student-led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services and several federal and state agencies.
