A Heavy Achievement: Collins Honored as Teacher of the Year
The Warren County Career Center is proud to announce that Heavy Equipment and Site Construction teacher Delohn Collins has been named our Project Excellence Teacher of the Year!
With over 15 years at WCCC, Mr. Collins teaches much more than Heavy Equipment. His students nominated him for his unwavering care, his mentorship, and the way he prepares them for life beyond the job site. He doesn’t just teach them how to move the earth; he teaches them how to build a future.
"What Mr. Collins does with our students is truly remarkable," said Joel King, WCCC Superintendent. "To have these students operating these big machines every day with the precision and skill that they do is so cool to see, and you forget that a year or two ago, they had never done this before."
