WCCC Begins 2024-25 School Year
After welcoming juniors to campus on Tuesday, the Warren County Career Center welcomed all high school students to campus today. This year’s enrollment has over 970 students attending the high school across both campuses. Students are enrolled in one of the 20 secondary programs offered, including construction trades, cyber technology, and pre-nursing.
“In my 25 years here, there's still nothing better than the first day of school,” said Kim Gambill, Director of WCCC’s Atrium Campus. “The students are really what brings life into our building and into our roles as educators.”
“This is a great day for WCCC, I’m so glad to have students here and be able to get the school year rolling,” added Ron Corradini, Director of WCCC’s Main Campus. “We’ve been planning for a while to get everybody back in the building and I’m really excited about having them here.”
Gambill enters her 28th year with the district, while Corradini is in his first year with WCCC.
Warren County Career Center connects high school students to career technical education through hands-on career training and required academic courses in-person at one of our two high school campuses. Additionally, WCCC serves thousands of additional students through their satellite programs, bringing CTE classes to middle and high school students throughout the career-technical planning district for six school districts, and one private school.
