WCCC Mourns Loss of Longtime Cosmetology Teacher
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Levetra Staten, cosmetology instructor at Warren County Career Center. She touched the lives of countless students and staff in her time with us, and will be dearly missed. Our heartfelt thoughts are with the Staten family and Levetra’s friends. Levetra was part of our staff for many years, starting in 2008, and was our 2021 Project Excellence Award Winner. In addition to being an amazing teacher, she was a dear friend who loved her family more than anything.
We will have additional counselors at school on Monday, September 15, to provide grief and mental health support for our staff and students. We’re committed to getting through this difficult time together.
