Springboro area manufacturer Invotec is the WCCC Valued Business Partner for February. The company provided a live stream virtual tour of their facility for our Electricity and Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics Programs in September. They interviewed all students interested in potentially working for them and hired two WCCC seniors, Raphael Zotter, Kings, Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics, and Robert Lipps, Franklin, Electricity. Invotec was nominated for the award by Career Development Coordinator Yvonne Kaszubowski.
“We welcomed Raphael and Robert to our team in December of 2020,” HR Manager Caryn Santee said. “Both students are committed individuals who bring a desire to learn a skilled trade and an interest in experiencing a different type of industry in their chosen field. As Controls Tech Trainees at Invotec, our hope is to introduce them to real-world applications for the technical skills they learn at the WCCC. Additionally, we’re excited to offer them the opportunity to see how their field of study is applied to the overall automation process, and their career opportunities with Invotec.”
