• The WCCC Senior Ceremony will be on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the UD Arena at the University of Dayton with doors open at 6:00 p.m.   Assisted seating will be in the upper concourse.  
   
• There are no tickets or seating limits
   
• Parking will be available through Gate A & Gate B, and all guests will enter through the South Entry.  
   
• Following UD Arena policy, all guests will pass through a metal detector and be subject to a bag search. Help keep the lines short and eliminate extra hassle for you, we ask that you only bring in necessary items and leave all prohibited items at home! Prohibited items will include, but are not limited to: firearms, pocket knives, weapons of any kind, signs larger than 8.5 x 11, tripods, balloons, animals (with the exception of service animals), camera lenses longer than eight (8) inches, laser pointers, and noisemakers.
   
• Students need to arrive no later than 6:00 p.m.  Students will enter through the South Entry and check-in at the Welcome Table.  

• All students will wear their home school’s graduation gown over professional clothing.  
   
• We ask that students not wear jeans or gym shoes to the Senior Ceremony.  Students will be going up and down stairs as a part of the ceremony, so keep that in mind when selecting your shoes!  
   
• We do have some gowns available for students to borrow.  Please have your student stop in the main office or talk to their counselor if in need.

• Students are expected to report to school on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at regular time for ceremony practice.  
   
• All students are required to attend practice unless pre-approved by one of our administrators.  

As you know, your students official diploma will be granted by their home district, not WCCC. We provide students with their Career Tech Certificate of Completion and any certificates or credentials they earn.

• At the Senior Ceremony, students will be given a generic passport jacket, their certificates and credentials will be given to them in a packet on the last day of lab. Please remind students that this packet contains important paperwork that they will want to keep! We will remind them too!
   
• After the ceremony, students can put their certificate inside the passport handed out at the ceremony.
   
• If a student is not participating in Senior Ceremony, have them talk to someone in the office so that we can present them both their packet and passport at the same time.

We collect photos for two slideshows that are presented during the Senior Ceremony.

• Before the ceremony begins, we will show senior portrait photos of each student
• During the ceremony, there will be a slideshow of student activities and fun memories

To be included in the slideshows, students must provide photos HERE before May 10, 2024.

Ceremony Photos! 
Our Digital Media program juniors will be at the ceremony to take photographs of the event. Each student will have their photo taken after receiving their passport. These photos will be FREE for download by mid-June. 

There will be large monitors projecting in live action, so everyone will be able to clearly see the students throughout the ceremony.  Many guests take photos of the monitors to capture the moments!

The ceremony will be live streamed on UD's YouTube Channel.
